Pardhi samaj janjagruti sevabhavi santha walunj is a grass-root social service provider organization working in the field of education, health and community empowerment. It was registered in 2015 under Society registration act 1860 and Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 and. Its major intervention is based at Valunj Tal. Ashti district Beed, Maharashtra which is known for highest Nomadic tribal (Pardhi) population in the region. Organization implements its various programmes and projects related to Education, Health and community development, in close collaborations with local socially disadvantaged Nomadic tribal communities and government.
NGO is working since last 2015 and has always worked on the need based projects. We have already work started for childrens of Pardhi community children , this Pardhi community is total avoided by the Government and society because they attached with Taboos of Thief, hunting etc. , even society not accepting this community as general, government not issuing them any Identity proof because this people not registered any of Grampanchayat (Local Governing body).
Pardhi samaj janjagruti sevabhavi santha walunj has started small residence hostel by own funding and by collecting small donation from the villagers, we use to go house to house for donation, organization started this work from 30 children and current strength is 80 children these children goes in Z.P School, we have regular struggle for food and other expenses of hostel children, we didnt have any other support from Government and If support will receive from any one donor then we could provide good quality and child friendly atmospheres for residence and education of the children, through this project number of students would be benefited, Parents would be sensitized about the Education, health, sanitation and hygiene. School staff, Parents and Students would be sensitized for hostel maintenance on regular basis, so these stakeholders would take responsibilities of maintenance of the premises.
